This game is on the greybox project design by using Unity, including simple functionality, minimal feedback, and a personally created model. It primarily aims to demonstrate a prototype and design of it. The theme of the game is 'spacecraft'.  As the theme is related to space relations, I chose colors that lean towards red, black, yellow, and other colors.

In the menu scene, all buttons are close to the left side of the screen, taking into account the user experience and the multi-platform application. To differentiate, the buttons have different sizes and color shades. To take up as little cognitive resources as possible, the font and color of all buttons are consistent and the screen is as simple and clear as possible. In addition, a tilted panel makes it easy for the player to find the button to start the game. To minimize cognitive friction, I also put some feedback on the buttons.

For the same reasons as above, keep the screen simple and the buttons consistent in the game scene. On the action buttons, I used a remote control-like setup, with buttons with similar functions arranged together and buttons with different functions separated to the sides, which makes access easy. In terms of screen layout, unlike the menu screen, I have maximized the footprint of the game screen by shrinking the buttons and using symbols for the buttons.

Hi, Yousuf,   according to me your work was very nice...but needs few improvements.... for example  just parts of spaceship. Background is also very cool. But I think you should choose different image which include some space view. Like planet or astrounout...I appreciated your work. Keep it up!

Hello Yousef. Here is my feedback for your game.

I admire your prototype model of the spaceship, as it looks great. The spacecraft design, colour and small parts of the spacecraft have attention to detail. The background image looks excellent and creates excitement for me as a user. And creates the environment to give the User an experience of the Space. This helps to trigger the perception towards the Space for the User. The buttons on the main menu are also well-placed and easy to navigate on the Main Menu. One thing you could fix on the Main menu is the Title orientation, as it looks really off to me. Maybe you can place the title in the middle of the game and place it horizontally and adjust your spacecraft size.

In the second Scene, I think the background image creates a dark environment which helps the colour of the spacecraft to come better.

My suggestion for the button panel can be placed in the bottom right corner, then the right-up corner, as it seems that the spacecraft is really close to the buttons. From the User's perspective, it's better to place it at the bottom of the screen as it can be easy to navigate.

Also, I feel the symbol for the button is confusing. Like the button for the grow and shrink. You can use Plus(+) and Minus(-) to symbolise the grow and Shrink buttons. Also, the rotation Button, I think, can be well symbolised since the simple button can reduce cognitive friction for the users. For itch.io, you can add a banner to show the title of the game.

Above all, the spacecraft design is great. The things that you can improve are title orientation on the first menu and symbolising the button in a better way to make it easy for the User.

I hope my feedback can help the better improvement of the game for further development.

Best regards,

Sandesh Adhikari

Thank you very much for the feedback, I'll go back and try to try to correct it
